Exhibition : Ethereal Moments, works by Caroline Benchétrit

True to herself, Caroline Benchétrit transports us again at the heart of her feminine characters world, and shares ephemeral moments of their lives. While the Bold and Light series celebrates spring’s exuberance, dreams, sensations and love of the past, the new works reflect an interior movement from awakening to voyage, after a meditative and transformative phase.

Each painting sets up a universal state of being necessary to the evolution of every individual: awakening of consciousness, harvest of what one had seeded along life’s path, confrontation and abandon of old behaviors, and finally, an impulse toward life leading to a rebirth symbolized by a trip: we are now all ready to explore new sensations and destinations.

Combining colors and textures in a sensitive manner, the artist succeeds to paint an accessible world in which each of us will identify emotionally.


Ethereal Moments will be on show from May 31st to June 16th 2010.

The artist will be present at the public opening Wednesday June 2nd from 5 to 9PM.
