Sylvain Tremblay in Shanghai!

James Moore, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages, unveiled the artists that will be part of Canada's cultural program at Expo 2010, which will run from May 1 to October 31, 2010, in Shanghai, China.

Among them, we are proud to announce that Sylvain Tremblay, one of our most talented painters, has been selected. The artist will present Le Peuple which fits in the Canadian thematic of “The city alive- inclusive, durable, creative”. This event will be a unique occasion to demonstrate the diversity of Canadian artistic scene.

Expo 2010 is expected to be one of the largest expositions ever, 242 countries and organizations will participate. Thanks to the Cirque du Soleil, Canada is in the process of building a stunning pavilion. The Canadian Government is expecting 5 to 5.5 million visitors, about 30.000 people a day, at the Canadian Pavilion.

Congratulations Sylvain and have a good trip to Shanghai!
